Frequently Asked Questions
The information below represents queries we are commonly asked. If you have a query that is not answered here, please contact us and we'll be happy to provide any additional information you require
How do I book the band?
Once you have decided to book the band a contract will be prepared and two copies sent to you. You would then sign and return one copy of the contract in the SAE provided and make your deposit (typically 20% of our fee) via bank transfer, for which a receipt will be given. The remaining balance of our fee would then be payable on the day of your event.
If you would like to view a copy of our contract terms and conditions before deciding whether to proceed with your booking, we would be very happy to provide you with this.
How long does the band perform for?
We usually perform 2 x 1 hour sets but can perform 3 x 40 minute sets if requested. At dinner/dance functions we typically perform a 1 x 90 minute set following the meal service.
How much room does the band need for their stage area?
We can fit into a space 5 metres wide (16ft) x 3 metres (10ft) deep, though we do prefer a larger stage area if available. We can also fit into corner spaces provided the area is a minimum of 5 metres wide and 3 metres deep at its centre-point. We do not need an elevated stage and often perform 'on-the-floor'.
For an 8-piece band, you might be surprised at the spaces we can fit into!
What information does the band need to provide a quotation?

Does the band hold public liability insurance?
We are fully indemnified for damage, loss, or injury to a value of £5,000,000. A copy of our policy may be viewed upon request.
Does the band hold Portable Appliance Testing (PAT) certification?

We are always very grateful when food and drinks are provided, but we do not expect you to provide them.
